Laptop keyboards endure thousands of keystrokes every day, and over time keys can stop responding, get stuck, or break entirely. At PCsian in Iloilo City, we replace laptop keyboards for every brand — ASUS, Acer, Lenovo, HP, Dell, MSI, Samsung, and MacBook. Whether your keyboard was damaged by a liquid spill, has unresponsive keys from wear and tear, or you're dealing with the notorious MacBook butterfly keyboard issues, our technicians source the correct replacement for your exact model and install it carefully. We also check for underlying damage like corroded connectors or motherboard issues to make sure the new keyboard works perfectly. Visit our Jaro or Pavia branch for a free diagnosis.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does laptop keyboard replacement cost?

It varies by laptop model and keyboard type. Some laptops have keyboards that are part of the palmrest assembly, which costs more. Bring it in for a free quote.

Can you fix just one key instead of the whole keyboard?

No, we can't fix individual keys. Laptop keyboards are replaced as a complete unit. If even one key is broken, the whole keyboard needs to be swapped.

My keyboard stopped working after a spill. Can it be fixed?

Often yes. We clean the keyboard internally and check for corrosion damage. If cleaning restores it, great. If not, we replace the keyboard. Either way, we check the motherboard for liquid damage too.

Some keys type the wrong character. What's wrong?

This could be a software/driver issue or physical damage to the keyboard membrane. We'll diagnose whether it's a simple settings fix or requires replacement.

Can you replace MacBook keyboards?

Yes! MacBook keyboards (especially butterfly keyboards) are more complex to replace, but we handle them regularly. MacBook keyboard replacements may involve the full top case assembly.

How long does keyboard replacement take?

Usually 1-3 days depending on parts availability for your specific laptop model. If we have your keyboard in stock, same-day replacement is possible. MacBook keyboards may take longer due to complexity.
